Picky Picky

This treadmill has the crappiest font and absolutely no kerning.

Exercise is boring.

I listen to podcasts. I still don’t enjoy the exercising and want to finish ASAP.

But you still do it! Yea. Proud of you!

I know the feeling Steve….I read while I’m on ours as well. Hang in there….it’s worth it.

If I read while working out I don’t get any benefit from the workout. I will just slide into a hypnotic state and won’t work hard enough to do any good. I’m doing yoga until I get into good enough shape to survive going back to karate. I really hate the early phase of getting fit after a prolonged injury, when you can barely do anything and it all hurts and there’s none of the GOOD feelings you get after you’re fit…

    Good point David.

  6. Gary Kimball Gary Kimball says:

Steve….never, ever go into a hypnotic state :). JK. Many people listen to music, watch tv, or read, and still reap the benefits.

My brain is far more advanced than what David Crooks has, so I should be fine listening to my podcasts at the same time as working out.

I prefer something more dynamic, like kicking people, anyway.
