If I read while working out I don’t get any benefit from the workout. I will just slide into a hypnotic state and won’t work hard enough to do any good. I’m doing yoga until I get into good enough shape to survive going back to karate. I really hate the early phase of getting fit after a prolonged injury, when you can barely do anything and it all hurts and there’s none of the GOOD feelings you get after you’re fit…

Steve….never, ever go into a hypnotic state :). JK. Many people listen to music, watch tv, or read, and still reap the benefits.
My brain is far more advanced than what David Crooks has, so I should be fine listening to my podcasts at the same time as working out.
